Voice Of America - American English

Voice of America (VOA)  is a news, information, and cultural site that can be accessed through the Internet, social media, radio, and television.  Funded by the U.S. Government, this is a dynamic international multimedia broadcaster that provides news in 44 languages.

One one the most useful tool the site offers is an interactive American English learning link called The Classroom.  Using current and historic news, the student can practice their English skills.  Activities are offered next to the articles and also extra links, such as a Wordbook and an Idiom Dictionary.

This is a good site to recommend to intermediate English language learners looking to further improve their English language skills.
